K&D / Diablo Ranch Walnut Creek Wedding

When I arrived at Kristina’s parents’ home, she was looking through an old journal that her fiancé had given her as a wedding gift. I couldn’t believe how thoughtful it was– a record he kept of their relationship, complete with every card and note she had written to him. My heart melted while her friends and family watched her flip through it. It was only the beginning of an incredibly joyful day. “I am so happy to be here,” I kept thinking as I watched sweet, emotional moments unfold throughout the day.

Diablo Ranch is probably the most gorgeous outdoor wedding venue in Walnut Creek, California. What a cool place to get married, especially if you grew up in the area like Dean and Kristina did. Being back in the hills of Walnut Creek was special for me too, since I grew up at the base of those hills. Sunsets just look so good on oak trees and rolling gold hills. I hope you feel the joy of this wedding through the photographs. What a pleasure it was to be there.
