Redwood Forest Bridal Portraits / Nisene Marks Aptos, California
Ever since I moved to Santa Cruz I’ve been exploring the incredible redwood forests that we are so lucky to have surrounding us. I LOVE to hike, and I’m always on the lookout for gorgeous spots for portraits or elopement ceremonies. One day I was walking through the Forest of Nisene Marks and decided to take a turn down a path I hadn’t been down before. It led me down below a bridge where a creek trickles through an incredible, mossy ravine. Huge logs leaned up against the walls of the ravines, where ferns and vines sprouted out from every crack. Needless to say, I decided that I HAD to do a shoot here. A couple weeks later I teamed up with a couple talented ladies to put on this simple bridal shoot on a sunny winter day.
This bridal shoot is meant to inspire you to go somewhere gorgeous and wild for your wedding or elopement. It is also meant to inspire you to have FUN and not worry if your dress gets a little dirty. Your wedding is supposed to be a memorable day- so release your inhibitions (feel the rain on your skin!) I love helping couples find perfect places for adventurous elopements and tiny weddings. If you’re planning a tiny outdoor wedding I would love to help you find THE spot. So get in touch today!
