My jaw dropped when I set foot onsite the Holly Farm in Carmel, California. There are a lot of wedding venues I like, a few I love, and just a couple that I absolutely ADORE. The Holly Farm falls into the “adore” category by a hundred miles. The Moses family owns and runs this special place that their father created long ago. I was told that their dad dreamed of moving the young family to a Polynesian island, but did the next best thing by creating a tropical paradise with a mid-century style. All kinds of palms, ferns and orchids spring out of this lush, green property. But the magic doesn’t stop when the sun goes down; twinkling lights bring the place to life in an unbelievable way. You’d think you were transported back in time to an island resort.

But really, I think the coolest part of this venue is the Moses family. They put their heart and soul into running the property and helping couples coordinate their weddings. The energy and love they put into it makes everyone present also feel like part of the family.

A&E dreamed up a truly breathtaking autumn wedding. Colorful textured glass and vintage tin and silver vessels gave an eclectic, bohemian spin to the retro wedding. Gorgeous flowers in all shades of red and pink practically dripped off of everything.  Thank you Love & Wolves for having me along to help you shoot this wedding!
