Loma Vista Big Sur Elopement

Stephanie and Ivan took their first trip to Big Sur to elope on top of the world at Loma Vista. We were able to hit the redwoods, the coastal mountain tops, and the beach all in one day. I love showing Big Sur to new faces– especially on such a meaningful day!

To start, we planned for Stephanie and Ivan to arrive separately to a beautiful redwood grove so that they could enjoy an emotional moment seeing each other dressed up for the first time that day. This location felt just right because we were surrounded by lush green trees and the sound of a rushing creek! I am a big believer in seeking out locations that add even more meaning and inspiration to a significant occasion. Stephanie hiked in after us accompanied by her sister. The couple exchanged some personal vows here by the creek after their first look.

Next, we drove up the coast to Loma Vista’s newly available ocean view site. This location has unbeatable views and a significant sense of peacefulness. The thoughtful wedding ceremony was capped off with a charcuterie picnic and champagne, arranged by Stephanie’s sweet sister and her partner!

Finally, we rushed to catch the sunset at Pfeiffer beach below! In the true spirit of an elopement, everyone ate cake with their hands and laughed off the fact that sandy wind was whipping all around!
