"We just had our engagement session with Melissa and I can’t praise her enough! My fiance and I pitched the idea of taking photos where we first met, and Melissa was totally on board. The weather took a turn and ended up being very cold and snowy, but she was up for the adventure with us. Melissa’s vision, and ours, was to capture “moments” as opposed to posed pictures, so she had us sharing stories, laughing, and moving. She is such a creative and talented person and that truly comes out in her photographs. I was worried about how things (and I) would look, but Melissa was able to calm all those worries and created an environment that was fun. Receiving our photographs (sneak peeks the next day, all the photos in about a week) affirmed how amazing the experience was: we looked through them together, picked our favorites, and laughed about how cold the day turned and what an amazing experience we had! If you need a photographer, hands down, Melissa is the best!"
